I wanted to say thanks for the gift packet this Valentines day from the Kaylen Foundation. My son Justin had to come in again to Vandy Children's after 6 weeks over Christmas and only 3 weeks at home in January.

The gift card for gas was a big help. I spend an extra $300 a month on gas when Justin is in hospital. It was nice to be able to eat at subway instead of eating chips and granola bars!

Since my wife suffered a PTSD breakdown 2 years ago I have had to build a home based business on-line and it has been difficult, but we are truly blessed and treasure every moment Justin is alive. Thanks again.

Hi, my name is Samantha and I am 14. I am emailing to ask you how you would give money to this foundation. My grandmother read an article about the Kaylen Foundation in the newspaper a few days ago, and she would like to know how she can give money. Both my grandmother and I read the story about Kaylen and Tallant. They were just sweet, innocent babies when they were taken, but they are with Jesus now. He will keep them safe forever!!!! I will keep Kaylen and Tallant's family and the Kaylen Foundation in my prayers!!!

The parents of PCCU patients are so focused on the care of their child that they neglect to take time for themselves and to care for themselves. The Kaylen foundation has provided amazing opportunities to parents so they may take a break from the hospital environment. Recently a number of PCCU mothers have been given “mini spa days” that included facials, massages, and haircuts; each of them has returned to the hospital feeling rejuvenated and glowing from their treatments. The experience was something each of these mothers looked forward to for many days before and continues to talk about many days and weeks later.
